I have no idea what really happened, but, if that were here in Oklahoma, I would guess that it is a case of a delusional security guard pretending he was a real policeman. If he was carrying a gun (god forbid) that would account for the teens submitting to the search. Also, he might have been searching for drugs so he could confiscate them for himself.
