Communication, what a fantastic tool…when it’s used. A little rant about the lack of communication in my life.

I’ve found that the comments sections on Blogs and Vlogs aren’t very discussion friendly. People make comments and leave…not much give and take.
I’m reminded though, of the posts around the Toronto Podfest episodes. There was a lot of emphasis then about the online “community” and the people-connectivity aspect, and I really liked that idea…
In a few months I’m moving to the San Francisco area, and as a result I’ve been reading lots of blogs by people in that area, so I get to know the place and the Zeitgeist before I arrive. I’m also inspired (mainly by Moon Echoes) to start a vlog of my own once I move out there as a handy way of staying in touch with my family and friends who are now completely spread out across North America!
Dan, that is fantastic! Congratulations, I wish you the world of success.
Yes, vlogging would be a great way to keep family in touch. I’ll watch. Just get a camcorder and go at it. Jump right in from day 1. Perhaps film your trip there. The media can sit in a box until you’re ready to start editing or whatever.
Just capture the moments.
Way to go.
