Our Hockey Night in Canada (Part 2)
Posted by: Mike Moon in Uncategorized, tags: Arena, family, hockey, Toronto Maple Leafs, Tourist in My Own TownThis is part 2 of our night watching the Toronto Maple Leafs’ game from within the TV production truck. In this half we watch the technicians do their thing and get to meet the Leafs’ Play-by-play announcer; Joe Bowen and colourman; Harry Neil.
We had a fantastic time.

Fantastic! Thanks a lot for bringing us along Mike!
So how did you shoot the clip with Joe Bowen? Did you hold the camera discreetly at your side? I suppose you didn’t want to just shoot him straight-up.
Did you have any problems filming inside (after your first camera was taken?)

After my main camera was confiscated, I was a little apprehensive and more guarded with the Xacti.
I didn’t want to stick into peoples faces and risk losing it too.
The Xacti is nice because it doesn’t look like a camera or camcorder.
I think I would have shot it differently if I had the main camcorder. I would have been more relaxed in my shooting, in your face.
