I’m no pool expert, but what I would do would be to go out and buy a blue shower curtain, from which you can cut any size/shape of patch you want. And I would buy a good two component epoxy glue, then take your own patch. If you make your glued margins pretty big you should have no problems.
But like I said, I really don’t know what I’m talking about, but it seems to me for about 5 bucks you could make your own patches to cover about 100 sq. feet!

We went to a pool place and he said no problem with the patch kit and he gave me a big ass swatch of vinyl pool to use.
