Wow. Great presents. That tripod is incredible. Never heard of the Elgato, but what a device.
Does that one have the inputs as well for audio/video?
I was thinking about buying one of those a while back in order to make one of our Mac’s a PVR of sorts.
With regards to the Elgato Turbo.264, it is quite a cool attachment. I, rrrr Santa, bought mine off eBay for about $80 (including shipping). The Turbo.264 just converts video, outputs to iPod, PSP, iPhone and appleTV compatible types. Yes, Elgato also has the TV box/input etc models that can bring in video and convert it.
I found one little issue, but I’m checking through support.
