I'm a good ole Canadian Boy that vlogs (video blogs) moments in my life. The premise is that when I'm really old and forget how to feed myself, I can still look back and remember.
Variety! Perhaps I'll just gab about my day, or perhaps we'll talk about family, sports or whatever. I also have an artistic side, I like to experiment with different methods or points of view.
You'll find a little of everything here.

Mike,
I’m so sorry.
To lose her so suddenly and young - and to be uncertain - and at this time of year. She’s the same age as my mum. I can’t imagine.
I’m thinking of you.
Lovely montage of pictures.
I’m sure you’ll be glad you recorded this moment.
Thank you for sharing it.
Take care
Rupert
Mike, I arrived at your blog via a Tweet from Rupert.
We don’t know one another but I wanted to say, my dear fellow Canadian, I’m deeply sorry for your loss. 71 is still very young. And to be so quick. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
Warmly,
Mari
Mike, as someone who has lost both my parents to cancer you have my deepest sympathies and condolences. Although I don’t know you personally, only through your vlog, I send my warmest wishes for you and your family during this difficult time. -Bradly
Mike you have been in my thoughts all week, I try and send you my hugs via thoughts and energy. I know you and your mom were very close, and your love for her, and her love back to you was evident every time she came for a visit, the office would be just a little brighter with both of your love. I will be thinking of you on saturday, you have all my sympathy, I wish I could take away your pain but as we all know that is impossible. Mike take care of yourself and your family during this awful time.
Sandy.
Mike
I am so sorry for the loss of your mom. Thanks for blogging the feelings that you had/have. Maybe the world would be a kinder place if everyone would just share their feelings.
Tracy
Thanks folks for all the support.
The whole ordeal went by in a flash.
With the work that I do, I hear the torment some go through when trying to fight Cancer. I’m glad Mom didn’t have to go through a long drawn out process, but I wish more then anything that she was still alive.
She’ll be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
Mike… I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom.
I just finished watching your vlog from Dec 31.
What I remember of your Mom was that she was a very lovely person that loved her kids.
The tribute you did with the pics was beautiful.
I am so sorry for your loss,
Vickie
Deep sympathies, Mike. I’ve been remiss and so pointlessly busy and not visited and thus missed this sad news.
My parents are nearly eighty and when I saw them in December they seemed to have aged greatly. I’m always left wondering many things when I leave them these days.
Thank you for sharing this difficult moment and such a beautiful tribute of images. Take care.
Hey Mike;
I think I already said it elsewhere, but I can’t remember where, so in case it slipped past, you have our condolences as well. Loosing a family member is tough at the best of times, but having it happen so quickly and unexpectedly must surely have made it tough, especially during the holiday season.
If there’s anything we can do, or you just need a night out or whatnot, feel free to give me a ring whenever - you have my number. I know it’s been a few weeks, but I also know what it’s like going through it.
Hang in there, Mike.
