Information
I'm a good ole Canadian Boy that vlogs (video blogs) moments in my life. The premise is that when I'm really old and forget how to feed myself, I can still look back and remember.
Variety! Perhaps I'll just gab about my day, or perhaps we'll talk about family, sports or whatever. I also have an artistic side, I like to experiment with different methods or points of view.

I feel you pain dude but I live in Los Angeles. It’s major news if we have two days of rain. And we have fires and quakes and stalkarattzzi hunting Britney and Logan.
Now I do support any movement to help men folk run down the street naked. Well some men folk. We’d have to do this on a case by case basis. If they drink more than two cases of beer a week then no, I don’t want to see them naked.
Tell you what, let us take up the matter at the August VlogCamp get together. If we can get consensus at camp that from August 15 to September 15 is Augvlopomo then you are good to go and we keep your knees from knocking.

With me it was that November 2007 was a very busy month. Situations at work and at home left me very little time to make one video everyday. It could be very different next November. It really doesn’t matter with month the video powers that be choose to make Navlopomo, if you have the time or choose to make the time you will make it happen.
I vote no. No no no no no! I live in Phoenix. There is no color in August in Phoenix, Arizona. Everything is dead and brown, and people are huddled in their homes because if they go outside they will dehydrate and die within 15 minutes and then burn to a cinder crisp and be eaten by buzzards. Temperatures approach 125 degrees Fahrenheit. You can’t even breathe out there. November, however, is sunny but not too hot, it’s perfect.
Look, March, April - those are acceptable months. By the end of April it might still be mild here or the temp will “only” be 90-105 degrees. But August? Out of the question, man. What about October? October’s okay here. Anything but August. Seriously. The rest of the world is not like Canada.
It’s better for other reasons as well. My two kids are off during the summer and I can get them involved in the videos. As it stands, homework and other school related stuff keeps them busy.

Good work folks… I wanted to start the thoughts and conversation about changing the month, and I’m glad you have all chimed in. I hadn’t thought about the school summer break and more opportunities to include the kids in our work.

I’ve been enjoying everyone’s videos so much that I hope everyone decides to do it TWO months out of the year! Btw, I watched your RC plane video and would LOVE to be involved in any way with a project involving RC planes. I have been flying them since I was a teenager but am new to vlogging. I really enjoy your vlog!

I missed NaVloPoMo last year so any way of making the next one come sooner, I’m all for.
That said, I’m on board with Cheryl. August in L.A. isn’t quite as bad as August in Phoenix sounds, but believe me, it’s pretty bad. My posts that month would consist mostly of me sweating through the couch or holing up in the one air-conditioned room in my apartment.
maybe there could be 2 months a year to cater for northern and southern hemisphere - say spring & autumn? (reversed in different parts of world).
but in saying that I probably make/upload more videos in colder months as I stay in more. warmer months I shoot video but don’t get round to uploading it
