Coffee Table Train Set

Back in and around 1990, Donna and I went to a local hobby show. There was many neat and exciting things we saw that day but something caught my eye. I pulled Donna close and said “I want one, some day I’ll be able to build my own.” Well 10 years later I have started to build my own N Scale coffee table. Built year 2000-2003.

What a great craftsman and artist you are Mike. That looked stunning. I was dead keen to see it operating - but alas. So often it’s the doing, the creating for its own sake, that’s the pleasure. Interested to know the rest of the story. Do tell…

That was excellent Mike. I’m so lazy when it comes to working on my boat and 113 year old house. Dedication! Let me guess, sold for $8,000?
