Well, I found someone to swap lawnmowers with and I have a new (for me) push mower.

Mike, Hope the new (old) mower is working well for you. I cleaned the carb and threw a new spark plug in your old mower and its working good. Best of luck

Hey that’s great news Nathan. I’m glad the old mower didn’t give you any grief.
Enjoy and I hope you’ll drop by to the Vlog to see what’s happening.

Stumbled acrross this, and enjoyed the lawn mower series. Welcome to the dark side –> manual push reel mowers. Lee Valley has a sharpening kit, and sharpening seminars in the spring. I am a happy user for ~25 years. Be vigilant!

Yup! mow often, wipe it off after, lube it up frequently, and give it a sharpen.
