A Vlog: October 28, 2008

Cold weather, Donna’s Birthday and a compressed work week.

And You Call Yourself a Vlogger?

This is a message encouraging all my vlogging friends to get out and shoot some video. NaVloPoMo2008 is almost here… many videobloggers around the world will be posting a video per day in the month of November.

WTF?

What to hell is that?

The Making of a Killer

Some play time with Zoe.
Seems like a long 2 minutes, but try and watch it all the way through. :)

Vlog Global Flashmeeting

I had a great time at the 1st Vlog Global Flashmeeting. It was great being part of this international collection of Vloggers.
It was organized by the European Vlogger meet.
Here is the link to the flashmeeting archive, including the video, the minutes and analysis.

Cleaning Windows

Yes, I needed to wash the windows. No, I wasn’t looking forward to it.
That’s when the desire to post another video initiates the cleaning.
Using my Gorilla pod tripod, I suspended the camcorder from a small nail embedded on the front of the house. I used my Xacti HD2 with the Raynox 0.3x wide angle lens.

Mike-Gyver Wide Angle Lens on Xacti HD2

I have on order the proper wide angle lens for the thread less Xacti HD2.
Until it comes it, or for special projects, I attached my Raynox .3x semi fisheye lens.

Lumiere – Construction Work

I could watch construction work all day.

Lumiere Rules:
60 seconds max., Fixed camera, No audio, No zoom, No edit, No effects. http://videoblogging.info/lumiere

Supersize Your Meal?

Just goofin’ around. Now that I have the supersmall Xacti, video is easier when I’m on the road.

Puck Drops on Leaf Season

Well, it’s that time of year. The Toronto maple Leafs start their 2008-2009 season. With no main hockey stars, how will the team do?
