Corby’s Distillery Visitor Slide Presentation

Recently, while going through my Dad's old pictures and slides, I came across the slide show presentation for visitors to Corby's Distillery.
The circa 1969 presentation contains the original slides and narration.
The show has been recreated in video format.

This is the kind of stuff I dreamed of five years ago. People like you finding archives of old stuff…then bringing them to life in video. Your Pop would be proud.

My family worked in the distillery over the years, and I never did have an opportunity to see inside that plant. I’m thrilled to have had an opportunity now. My grandfather, Thomas Henry Lyon worked as a night watchman there for many years. Uncle Ken Gordon Lyon was there, and i believe uncle Harold Lyon may have worked there as well.
    Thanks for posting this, Mike!

Hey Linda. I probably knew Thomas Lyon. I spent a fair bit of time at the guardhouse. But what kid wouldn’t frequent the the guardhouse with their vending machines. It was like a store for me. :)
