Our Sharp Shinned Hawk returns for lunch.
This is shot in the backyard in our residential area.

Lindsay directed me to a small stream that’s just around the corner. Thanks Kiddo, nice place.

This past Sunday morning, I got up and while passing the backdoor, took a look out.
What to heck?
A Sharp-Shinned Hawk was enjoying breakfast.

The Sharp-shinned Hawk (Accipiter striatus) is a small hawk. In fact “Sharpies” (as they are abbreviated by North American birdwatchers), are the smallest to reside in USA and Canada, though some Neotropical species are smaller (notably the aptly named Tiny Hawk).

Check the site for the bigger version with sound and other guests of the feeder.

Fairly close-up view of our bird feeder. See and hear as the fine-feathered-friends come by for lunch.

…the wildlife play.

Chirp you damn birds and would you others keep the freakin’ noise down!
