We traded in some old Wii games and picked up Sports Resort. What a fun collection of 12 new games for the Nintendo Wii. Dillon and I work on our technique to master the 100 pin per frame bowling game.
I have several videos to pump out. This one is a quicky at just 23 seconds.
A couple years ago, the government, under pressure from Canadians, added another statutory holiday… Family Day. February 16th, with the kids home and Donna and I off work, we decided celebrate Family Day by going bowling. Fantastic time had by all.
20 years ago, Donna and I decided to join a 10 pin bowling league; The Sunday Night Mixed. It's just a bunch of adults getting out of the house, for shits and giggles. But, by the time it was the first night arrived, Donna was with child, to be known as Dillon. Bowling was off for Donna. I bowled Sunday nights until stopping four years ago for financial reasons. I started bowling again this past September and basically picked up from where I left off previously. For the last couple bowling seasons I had switched to a fingertip style bowling ball and I was learning how to control the force. The layoff was good for my bowling. My average is up from 160 to 165 and climbing. I'm much more relaxed this time around. Really enjoying things. I still put a lot of pressure on myself to bowl well, but at the end of the day, it's just bowling. Anyhow, my high game is 247, with a perfect game being 300. My one goal is to bowl with some consistency, bowl well for three solid games. I've yet to bowl a 600 series and would certainly like to.
I had my bowling ball redrilled and new fingertips inserted last week.
It took some time to get use to the ball, but once that happened, it was pretty smooth sailing.
137-235-179 = 551 (Average after 9 games, 163)
After a 4 year hiatus from the sport I love, I've returned to a 10 pin bowling League. The "Sunday Night Mixed League" is a fun, non-competitive social league. Donna wasn't able to go last night, but She'll generally go along; cheer me on…point…laugh. Good friends, good times.
I shot 140 – 198 – 150. Lucked out with a 5 turkey (5 strikes in a row) in the middle game to bring it out of the fire. :/
This was created on my new used iMac and the built in isight camera.
April 2006 I started creating my video diary. The premise is simply, when I'm really old and forget how to feed myself, I can still look back and remember.
Variety! Perhaps I'll just gab about my day, or we'll talk about family, sports or whatever. I also like to experiment with different video methods or points of view.
You'll find a little of everything here.
