We’ve been enjoying Smarties for what seems forever. Ahh, candy covered chocolate is yummy! BUT… there’s been a change to the formula.
Today there was an Earthquake just north of Ottawa (600km away) measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale. I was in the Cabana. Here’s my thoughts afterward.
We have an old laptop, Compaq Presario 2500, that we’ve kept and used outside in the Cabana for about the last 6 months. It has survived a cold Canadian winter, bringing us updates from some of our favorite News, sports and celebrity news updates.
Today, I’m making some changes to insert the laptop in the Cabana on a more permanent bases.
After we close down the Cabana for the night, the real party starts.

It is starting to get quite cold in the evenings outside and this affects our enjoyment in the Cabana. Our first night, with the use of a portal heater, it quickly went from -1 Celsius to +5 in a matter of minutes.
