Lindsay's Grade 8 Graduation festivities. Way to go Kiddo.

Each year, many of the farmers in the area of Tyrone, thank the residence, for sharing the roads with them all summer, by decorating their tractors and holding a parade.

This is my 3rd trip to Tyrone to watch the parade. It was cold and there was snow this year. It was a hoot.

Tourist in My Own Town: Tyrones Festival of lightsIts the 9th annual event for a group of farmers from Tyrone, Hampton, Enniskillen and Enfield. Held the first Wednesday in the Month of December.
The parade begins at about 5:30 p.m. at Old Scugog Road and the 9th Concession, running south to Potters Lane, then jogging back slightly north to the 8th Concession. It then goes past Haydon and down Middle Road, turning east on the 7th Concession, winding up in Tyrone around 7:30 p.m.

The miniature town just keeps getting populated and more beautiful each year.

A celebration of survival and a tribute to the lives of loved ones who have been touched by cancer. Twelve hours of fun, friendship and fund raising to beat cancer. Communities from coast to coast, taking up the fight.
