I look back one year and see that it wasn’t snowing last year… hell, I wasn’t even wearing a coat.

This is the first of three lumiere videos celebrating the spring thaw.

By Saturday we had already accumulated 170cm (5.5 feet) of snow this winter. Saturday they were calling for another 30cm (1 foot) of snow. The record snowfall for our area is 210cm (7 foot).

Not a whole lot going on, but I found some moments to share.

I’m re-releasing my first video, ‘The Goal’.
The video was shot from my Canon sd100 digital camera back in the spring of 2003.

The camera was put in ziplock bag with a hole for the lens to poke through.
Then the ziplocked camera was securely hockey-taped to my stick.
The StickCam was born.

I didn’t get to stay home from work, but the day following the big storm is Saturday, so I can still make a Snow Day out of it.

It was only a matter of time.
